I am a Senior Research Scientist and Director of the Science Education Group at the Center for Polymer Studies in the Department of Physics and Science and Mathematics Education Center at Boston University. My interests are in interdisciplinary computational visual modeling of complex systems. My professional focus has been on enhancing undergraduate and K-12 science education by adapting research-based models and visualization tools, developing new curricula, hosting workshops and summer internships, and involving undergraduate and graduate university students in K-12 classrooms. My efforts aim to bridge the gap between the microscopic and macroscopic, and between science education and science research.
